T20 World Cup 2022: The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will take place exclusively in Australia with Australia serving as the host nation. All of the tournament’s games will be played at Adelaide Oval.

The Gabba, Kardinia Park, Bellerive Oval, Perth Stadium, Sydney Cricket Ground, and Melbourne Cricket Ground. One of the main cricket events this year is the ICC T20 WC 2022.

T20 World Cup 2022: Number Of Matches & Group

With the exception of the qualifier games, 33 matches will be watched throughout the ICC T20 World Cup in 2022. Group 1 and Group 2 are the two groups into which all the teams are split. Six teams will be in each group.

For each group, the top two teams will advance to the semifinals. Although The semi-finalists’ winners will compete against each other in the final. On November 13, 2022, the tournament’s championship match will take place.

The ICC T20 World Cup 2022’s super 12 round will include a total of 12 teams. Group 1 and Group 2 are the two groups into which they are split. While Teams like England, Australia, New Zealand, and Afghanistan are in Group 1. Teams from Group 2 include Bangladesh, South Africa, Pakistan, and India. Two teams will be added to each group following the qualifying rounds.

The qualification round will feature Sri Lanka, Namibia, the UAE, the West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, and two more teams. Groups A and B are created from them. Although Teams like Sri Lanka, Namibia, and the UAE are in group A. West Indies, Scotland, and Ireland make up Group B. Later, one additional team will be added to each group.

T20 World Cup 2022: Here Is The Warmup Match Details & Date

All 16 teams’ official pre-tournament schedules for the ICC Men’s T20 WC 2022 have been released, and games will take place in Melbourne and Brisbane. Meanwhile, Teams for the First Round will start preparing in Melbourne, with games taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Junction Oval from October 10 to 13.

All warm-up games for teams entering the Super 12 stage will take place across two match days in Brisbane on October 17 and 19. Both The Gabba and Allan Border Field will serve as the venues for these games. While on October 10 at Junction Oval, the two-time defending champions West Indies will square off against the United Arab Emirates.

That in the first of two warm-up games that will be played by each of the First Round teams. However, the lone official pregame match for the hosts, Australia, will take place against India on October 17 at The Gabba. In addition to Australia, India, the current global champion, will play New Zealand on October 19 at The Gabba.
