Juventus Transfer News: Bianconeri Identifies Five New Free Transfer Targets
Juventus Transfer News: The Turin giants are already preparing for next season considering the poor start to the present one. According to Il Bianconero, Juventus have lined up five free transfers for next season.
The list includes the names of Marco Asensio, David de Gea, Alex
Grimaldo, Evan Ndicka, and Ramy Bensebaini. This season they have already
signed Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria on a free transfer.
All these players are currently in the final year of their
contract with their respective clubs. Also, it seems unlikely that they will
extend their stay at their clubs beyond this season. Thus Juve is now working
to bring them to Turin next season.
However, it will be easier said than done. There is still plenty
of time for their contracts to expire. Not only this there will be a January
transfer window and other clubs will also be involved.
Juventus Transfer News: The
Current situation of transfer targets
The most high-profile names out of the five are David De Gea and
Marco Asensio. The latter has been at Manchester United since 2011 but at times
he has been heavily criticized. Some reports have also suggested that Jordan
Pickford has been identified as a replacement for the Spaniard.
While for Asensio, things haven’t gone as per plan. Also, the
rise of the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrgyo hasn’t helped his cause. It
also looks unlikely that Real Madrid will offer him an extension. Alex Grimaldo
has made a name for himself in the Portuguese league since leaving the
Barcelona B team.
He will be a replacement for Alex Sandro who has just one year
left on his current contract. On the other hand, Evan Ndicka is a hot property
right now. The Frenchman plays for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga as a
center-back.
The likes of Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, and Paris Saint Germain
have also been linked with him. Ramy Bensebaini is also a defender for Borussia
Mönchengladbach. He is capable of playing as a center-back and as a left-back.
Other potential free agents
There are other players who will be free agents next summer. The
most prominent one is Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. The Chelsea duo are yet to
agree on a contrary extension with the Blues.
Roberto Firmino’s contract will also expire next summer. He has
been previously linked with a move to Juventus. The Premier League trio of
Marcus Rashford, Wilfred Zaha, and Youri Tilemmans will be free agents next
summer.
They are He is joined by Inter Milan’s top defender Milan
Skriner who will be a free agent next summer. Another former target in
Memphis Depay is also a free agent next summer. The La Liga duo of Thomas Lemar
