According to a report by journalist Matteo Moretto, PSG is still keen
on signing Milan
Skriniar. They will resume talks to sign him during the January transfer
window.
Skriniar was among the top targets for the Paris outfit during
the recently concluded transfer window. But they failed to reach an agreement
with Inter Milan to sign him.
However, the 27-year-old defender is currently in the final year
of his contract at the San Siro. The Milan outfit is yet to reach an agreement
over a new deal with the Slovakia international. They could look to sell him in
January as opposed to letting him move for free next summer.
However, PSG is likely to face competition from Tottenham
Hotspur and Chelsea, who have also shown interest in signing him recently.
What will Milan Skriniar bring
to Parc de Princess?
Skriniar is a powerful defender who likes to operate as a
left-sided centre-back. His key strengths are his concentration and passing
skills, along with his pace.
According to WhoScored, he has averaged one
tackle, one interception, and 1.7 clearances per 90 in the league this term.
Apart from that, he also completed 92.4 percent of his passes in the league.

PSG is currently at the top of the Ligue 1 table, with 19 points
from seven games. They will next lock horns against Lyon and Nice in the
league.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan is currently sixth in the Serie A table,
with 12 points from six games. They will next go up against Udinese and AS Roma
before locking horns against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League on October
5.
