Cristiano Ronaldo News: Man Utd Star ‘Happy to Score Goal and Help Team Win’

Cristiano Ronaldo News: The Portuguese superstar finally opened his account this season after netting a goal in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over FC Sheriff in the Europa League.

Ronaldo had gone into the game goalless in his last seven appearances for Manchester United. However, he ended his goal drought by scoring Man Utd’s second goal of the match.

The referee awarded Manchester United a penalty for a foul on Diogo Dalot, and Ronaldo dispatched the spot kick in the 39th minute to give his side a two-goal advantage after Jadon Sancho had scored to take the lead in the 17th minute.

Manchester United would go on to see off the game in the second half with the Red Devils earning all three points. They had earlier fallen to a 1-0 defeat to Real Sociedad in their Europa League opener.
