Cristiano Ronaldo News: Cristiano Helps Us On and Off the Pitch, Says Joao Felix

Cristiano Ronaldo News: Joao Felix has heaped praise on Cristiano Ronaldo, revealing that the Portuguese superstar helps teammates on and off the pitch.

Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the best players of all time. The Portuguese has been playing at the top level for over a decade now and has won the Ballon d’Or an impressive five times.

He has been playing for the Portugal senior team since 2003 and has so far made 190 appearances for the national side. Ronaldo has also scored 117 goals so far for Portugal.

His tally of 117 goals for Portugal makes him the all-time leading goalscorer in men’s international football. The 37-year-old will be looking to add more to the total as he continues to have a prominent role on the Portugal national team.

Cristiano Ronaldo always gives tips, says Joao Felix

Felix, who is Ronaldo’s Portugal teammate, revealed that the star striker helps his teammates on and off the pitch.

The Atletico Madrid attacker said Ronaldo always gives tips and helps them in whatever they need.

He always greets those who arrive. Welcome them and give us tips. He helps in training, but also off the field when we’re at the table and everything. He always gives tips and helps us in whatever we need,” Felix said, as quoted by Mais Futebol.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo is currently with the Portugal national team as they look to seal a place in the UEFA Nations League semi-final.

Portugal currently top League A Group 2 with 10 points from their first five fixtures. Spain sits second in the table, with eight points. The winner of the group will progress to the semi-finals.

Portugal and Spain clash in their next game, with both sides aiming it to make to the semi-final. A draw would be enough for Portugal to finish as group leaders, while nothing less than a win would take Spain beyond the group stage.

Portugal comes into the game on the back of their 4-0 win over the Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League. Ronaldo featured for Portugal throughout that game but was not among the goalscorers.

Ronaldo also suffered an injury during the game after a nasty collision. But after lengthy treatment, he resumed playing. The Man Utd star was pictured sporting a black eye and with cuts on his face in Portugal training ahead of the match against Spain.
