3 Players CSK Can Trade for Ravindra Jadeja Prior to IPL 2023

IPL 2023: Regrettably, an injury prevented Ravindra Jadeja from competing in much of the IPL in 2022. There have been numerous reports since the event that things between the player and the franchise are not good.

When the captaincy was restored to someone else, Jadeja was dissatisfied with the franchise. This came after Chennai Super Kings had a difficult start to the season. As a result, the franchise brought back MS Dhoni in the captaincy role.

MS Dhoni’s replacement, Jadeja, was declared at the start of the season. However, he wasn’t a good fit to be captain, therefore the franchise chose to take up his obligations. 1. Washington Sundar

Sundar can also be deployed as an opener who can take on bowlers from the first ball. He is a routine starter for his state team and is a seasoned opener. Additionally, he performs exceptionally well in his role as an opener.

2. Shahbaz Ahmed

He provides comparable expertise to Ravindra Jadeja. Shahbaz Ahmed played for RCB the season before, but his performance fell short of expectations. Despite his prowess with the bat, he didn’t perform well with the ball in his hand.

The all-rounder, who is 27 years old, would be a wise long-term investment for CSK. The Chennai-based team will benefit from his ability to score runs. Ahmed may be utilized based on the demands of the game with MS Dhoni behind the stumps.

3. Krunal Pandya

Krunal Pandya is an acceptable replacement for Jadeja. Due to his efficient bowling and street smarts, he can be a useful bowling alternative. He can also add a few runs with the bat on top of that.

The cricketer from Baroda may not yet be at his best, but he might be a long-term choice for the Yellow Army. Krunal has the potential to significantly develop under MS Dhoni’s guidance and establish himself as a key player for the team.​
